The MAIN THING to expect.
Just like the MAIN THING of a lighthouse is to warn and guide ships away from unseen dangers that lurk out of site just beneath them ready to destroy them, the Bible warns and guides people from the unseen dangers of sin that will destroy them unless, through the Light of the Gospel, they see Jesus Christ, turn and follow Him and live. This is the MAIN THING at MBC. We like to keep it out front and simple -- that's what we're called to do here.
MBC is a place that welcomes everyone seeking the wonderful news how people can experience their sins forgiven and start a brand new life in Jesus Christ. We're down-to-earth folks that love God and people. For anyone seeking how they can experience a brand new life, we will show you from God's Word how a brand new life is only possible as you hear the Gospel (good news of Jesus Christ), then are convinced of your sins and confess your need to believe Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again to pay for your sins. As you receive Him into your life, you are saved and declared righteous by God who makes you brand new from the inside out by the Holy Spirit. God deposits the Holy Spirit into all who believe in His Son. If this describes your desire to be made brand new, please contact one of the pastors today so that we can show you from God's Word how to become a brand new child of God. Please scroll down to see when we regularly meet, and we hope you visit us soon.
SMALL GROUPS meet Sundays at 9:45 am
MBC groups emphasize fellowship and solid biblical teaching to instruct and equip believers how to live Christ-honoring lives that reflect a biblical world view. We start at 9:45 am sharp in the Social Hall.
Every First Sunday of the Month we share in a time of fellowship with a short continental breakfast from 9:30 am to 9:45 am, then join a small group until 10:45 am.
THE SUNDAY MAIN WORSHIP GATHERING begins at 11:00 am. Our main worship gathering is for all ages in the sanctuary. A blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs are offered that call us to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. We then turn our attention as a message of hope and instruction from God's Word is delivered. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will reveal God's truth to our minds. A time of invitation is always given for anyone to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord -- and to the saved, to surrender ourselves as we obey what we have heard. This is what the Bible means when it says: "be doers of the word and not hearers only" (James 1:22).
